Chairman Moshe Feiglin of the Jewish Leadership faction in the Likud party prayed Thursday morning on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem on behalf of his son David Yosef, who suffered serious injuries in an auto accident at the start of the week.

The week saw a number of Jewish visitors to the holy site, including a group that regularly ascends on Wednesday mornings at 7:30. They were joined by a group from Hevron and Kiryat Arba and surrounding communities, who make a pilgrimage every month. Dozens came more for the fast of the 17th of Tammuz on Tuesday, despite the sweltering heat.
