Senior Hamas representative Ayman Ta said Thursday night that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu caused a deal to release abducted soldier Gilad Shalit to fail because he demanded deportation of released terrorists away from Judea and Samaria to Gaza and abroad.
Interviewed by the British Broadcasting Corporation's Arabic service, Ta said that Netanyahu also quashed the deal by refusing to release a number of the terrorists demanded by his organization.
