Mount of Olives resident Rechavia Piltz, whose car was stoned by Arabs in the Jewish-Arab Shiloach (Silwan) neighborhood on Sunday, told Arutz Sheva's Hebrew service that he was asked by police to travel via Silwan on his way home with three children, aged eight and under.

He found his car behind a trailer-tractor and in front of another vehicle when Arabs started throwing rocks at it. A number of the windows was shattered. The Arabs opened the driver's door and continued to rocks, but he was able to save his life by hitting the gas when the truck in front of him pulled away. In between, he said he called the police switchboard, which told him to stand at the side of the road and wait for an officer.
