Firefighters from the Golan Heights were sent Sunday afternoon to battle two large blazes in the northeastern portion of the country.
One of the fires was in the mined area near Tel Faress and the other was in an Israel Defense Forces training area next to Alonei Habashan on the Syrian frontier.
