Israel and the United Nations reached an agreement on the transfer of equipment from the flotilla that attempted to reach Gaza two weeks ago.
Robert H. Serry, the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process and UN Secretary-General’s Personal Representative to the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority is working together with Major General Eitan Dangot, Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories to transfer the aid.
The shipments include food, clothing, toys, and medicine. They have been sitting in storage since the flotilla arrived because Hamas has refused to allow the shipments to enter Gaza.
