Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger expressed support for Chabad activities in the northern Tel Aviv neighborhood of Ramat Aviv and criticized a secular group's attempts to expel Chabad from the neighborhood. In his speech at Chabad’s Annual Conference, Rabbi Metzger, a resident of North Tel Aviv himself, complimented Chabad and said that the widely publicized Ramat Aviv dispute is "the biggest compliment and an indication of the success of Chabad’s activities."
