Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom has called to expel MK Haneen Zouabi and Islamic Leader Raed Salah, if necesary, for taking part in the Gaza terror flotilla. "We must bring MK Zouabi and Raed Salah to justice and, if necessary, even deny them citizenship and expel them," he said.
Shalom also addressed the diplomatic crisis with Turkey. "We should handle Turkey firmly, there is no reason to stammer." According to Shalom, Turkey's Prime Minister has imperial ambitions in the Middle East, "Turkey ruled this area for 400-500 years less than one hundred years ago.To revive the Ottoman Empire is one of his goals, just as Achmadinejad has ambitions to revive the Persian Empire."
