In spite of an audio recording to the contrary, Arab MK Ahmad Tibi has denied that he said in an interview with Channel One's Uri Levy on Monday that "just as you pressure [Hamas] prisoners in Israeli prisons we will pressure Gilad Shalit." Tibi claims he never said those words.
MK Yariv Levin said in response that Tibi's words made him sound like "a spokesman for the Hamas".
