The Knesset's House Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing Monday morning on Member of Knesset Michael Ben-Ari's request to harm the immunity of Arab members of Knesset who went to Libya recently and revoke other parliamentary privileges.
The National Union lawmaker said his Arab colleagues exaggerated in making the trip and have been working for a long time to exploit Israel's democracy. He claims the trip was the straw that broke the camel's back and the same democracy has to protect itself, adding that the hearing will be the litmus test of the Knesset's right-wing coalition.
