Barkat: 50,000 New Homes in Jerusalem

On a tour of Ramat Shlomo with City Council members, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat said Sunday that he intended to add 50,000 housing units in the city in the coming years, two thirds of them in Jewish neighborhoods and one third in Arab neighborhoods. “The process of building Jerusalem cannot be stopped,” he said.
