President Shimon Peres said Thursday that Syrian actions don't match its words.

Following a tour of the Israel Military Industries, Peres was asked by reporters about a statement by Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad that Israel did not want peace. He said that Syria "speaks about peace, on the one hand, and on the other, produces a giant warehouse for 70,000 missiles on the northern border whose target is Israel. Israel is not threatening Lebanon and is not threatening Syria."
