      Shekel Stronger

      The shekel rose an average of .183 percent against most currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign exchange list on Monday. The Euro continued to drop. Its NIS 4.6517 rate was 1.305 percent lower than Friday's figure.

      The pound sterling declined .45 percent to 5.4432 shekels, while the United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.778, up .505 percent.
