    Israel to Build WWII Memorial

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced Tuesday night that Israel would build a memorial to honor allied troops who lost their lives fighting World War II. The memorial would be built in Netanya. The Prime Minister made the announcement after a Knesset commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the surrender of the Nazis in World War II.

“We will be investing a great deal of government money in this project, as a way to show our thanks and the appreciation of the entire Jewish people for the sacrifices and bravery of veterans, and the soldiers of the Red Army, for the victory over Nazism,” Netanyahu said.
