Jerusalem's local planning commission decided on Monday to freeze digging permits issued for lots 13-15 in the Holyland project for 100 days in order to examine the permits relative to building rights for the entire project. Examination by the city has revealed that the digging permits will bring the developers of the project beyond the 79 dwelling units authorized.
The city's professional staff will review the subject, including the position of the developers and bring the results to the commission. Commission chairman Kobi Cachlon noted that because of the uniqueness of the subject, the city deems it important to examine everything thoroughly.
