Former Arab MK Azmi Bishara, suspected of spying for the Hizbullah is to receive NIS 200,000 from the Knesset as a one-time grant due to his "retirement".
The 52-year-old Bishara, served in the Knesset since May 1996. He resigned from the Knesset on April 25, 2007 when he was abroad and never returned to the country after reports circulated that he was suspected of spying for the Hizbullah terrorist organization during the Second Lebanon War.
