Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar was joined in a tour of the Theodor Herzl Museum in Jerusalem on Sunday by Treasurer Hagai Merom of the Jewish Agency, Chairman Efi Stenzler of the Jewish National Fund to mark the 150th anniversary of the Zionist visionary's birth, which fell on Shabbat. Joining the three were high school students taking part in the "From Vision to Reality" project, funded by the three bodies, which also brings students to other sites in Jerusalem.
The center teaches visitors about Zionist leader Theodor Herzl: his background, his experiences with European anti-Semitism, and his vision of a sovereign Jewish state. Visitors are asked to compare Herzl's vision with the modern-day state of Israel. For an English look at the center click here.
