The Foreign Ministry attacked Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday evening for saying that his country would not stand idly by if Israel attacked Gaza again.
According to a ministry statement, Israel is not interested in cofrontation with any country, including Turkey, but the impression is being created that Erdogan's joining the Islamic world must be made at Israel's expense. The statement added that it would expect him to express concern over the innocent Muslims being killed by terrorists in Iraq and Pakistan.
