Criticism is growing of the White House humiliation of Prime Minister Netanyahu. Jackson Dale, a leading political columnist for the Washington Post, writes today in his blog: "The White House is treating Netanyahu like the dictator of a third world country, someone that the U.S. needs for strategic reasons, but prefers not to get to close too."

"The world will notice what is happening very quickly and respond in kind," he writes. "European countries can not be friendlier to Israel than the U.S. Would Britain have expelled a senior Israeli diplomat because of the fake British passports affair in Dubai if it were not for the rift between Obama and Netanyahu? Probably not.”
