A fire broke out in a residential home on Dror street in Haifa yesterday. Two children were trapped on the second floor while the other residents managed to escape from the house. Teams of firefighters reached the chidren's room and rescued a five-year-old boy who had nearly suffocated.

One fireman was slightly injured and the boy was treated by a Magen David Adom team.
