Talks to Begin on IEC Restructuring

At a meeting between Treasury officials and Histadrut representatives, the two sides agreed to enter into talks on the structural changes the government wants to make in the Israel Electric Company. The discussions will begin after Passover, and both sides say they want to arrive at a quick resolution. IEC workers have staged several work actions in protest over plans by the government to break the company into independent units.
