The Knesset’s Foreign Workers Committee, headed by MK Yaakov Katz, Head of National Union party, will tour Ben Gurion Airport Thursday. The move follows complaints from Arava farmers regarding bureaucracy and lack of understanding by Interior Ministry officials concerning the strict quotas for Thai workers.

MK Katz wants to examine closely the process of the arrival and departure of the foreign workers. The committee will meet with representatives of the Ministry of Interior and try to learn the border processing procedures in order to optimize them as much as possible.
