Kadima head Tsipi Livni said Tuesday at a Kadima conference in the north that "the difference between us and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is the difference between intelligent action and stupid declarations. The issue is not Jerusalem but the management of the country, which is leading to the weakening of Israel," Livni said.
"I was willing to pay the political price in order to preserve Jerusalem through negotiations, even when they accused me of trying to divide the city, because I knew that even if strong statements strengthened me politically, the reaction by the world will weaken Jerusalem," she said.
