The Speaker of the Knesset Reuven Rivlin was the keynote speaker at the dedication ceremony of the Hurva synagogue in Jerusalem this evening. In light of growing calls by the Obama administration for a cease of Jewish building in Israel's capital, Rivlin said, "This synagogue which lies across the Green Line [the pre-1967 border], is in the center of the Jewish Quarter which is also located across the Green Line, which overlooks the Western Wall, which is also located beyond the Green Line - is a milestone in the history of the Jewish people's return to Zion.
