The media described the dedication of the Hurva 'ruin' synagogue in Jerusalem's Old City as an inflammatory event. The Jews of the Jewish Quarter say it was a big and exciting event, but not inflammatory.

"No one in the Jewish Quarter feels that way. The police are here and the media will not be able to spoil our joy," said the assistant Gabbai (sexton).
