Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, turned to the president of Brazil, Lula da Silva, from the Knesset podium, and told him, "I hope Brazil will join the international front against the arming of Iran."

"I believe the Iranian regime represents the opposite of the values of your country," Netanyahu said to De Silva, "Iran suppresses women and minorities while you advocate freedom and equality. They worship death and you celebrate life."
