Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at the Likud faction meeting said that "building in Jerusalem and everywhere will continue as it has been done over the past 42 years. The cabinet decision on ending the freeze at the end of ten months is binding."

Netanyahu made the comments in response to a question by MK Tzippi Hotovely on the impact of the crisis with the United States on the issue of freezing construction.
