The Knesset's Finance Committee approved the second and third readings of a bill supporting a drought tax freeze. Last week the Finance Committee approved the first reading of the bill under committee chairman MK Moshe Gafni.

The bill states that the drought tax will not be reinstated unless the Finance Minister and Infrastructure Minister support the move, along with approval from the Finance Committee.
