Opposition MKs have been quick to slam Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for the predicament with the United States.

MK Dr. Nachman Shai said Monday morning that "while the Prime Minister tries to calm the crisis in relations between Israel and the U.S., Israel's ambassador to the U.S. announces that it is the lowest point in relations in 35 years."

"Israel continues to speak with two voices and creates confusion such as with the decision approving construction in Ramat Shlomo," added Shai.
