Dozens of residents of Harish in Wadi Ara are protesting near the Barkai Junction over plans to establish a large Hareidi community in the town. The residents sat they are worried that as many as 100,000 Hareidim could move into the area, which would change the nature of the community significantly. The plans were developed by the Housing Ministry.
