At a press conference held on Friday, Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Yizhong issued a stern warning to Google if it stops complying with the government's demand to censor search results in China.
"I hope Google can respect Chinese rules and regulations," Mr. Li said. "If Google insists on taking this action that violates Chinese laws, I repeat: you [Google] are unfriendly and irresponsible, and you yourself will have to bear the consequences."
