OIC Chairman Attacks Ramat Shlomo Building Plan
The Senegalese president and chairman of the Organization of the Islamic Conference condemned late Thursday Israel’s decision to build 1,600 housing units in north Jerusalem’s Ramat Shlomo neighborhood. The OIC chairman called the planned construction of Jewish homes yet another Israeli obstacle to the resumption of negotiations, which most Muslim states expect to result in the surrender of Judea, Samaria and most of Jerusalem to the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority.
