Israeli Air Force jets have bombed a smuggling tunnel and a weapons laboratory in the southern Gaza region Thursday night. The IDF Spokesperson’s Office explained that the strike was in response to earlier rocket fire from the area on Kibbutz Nirim in the Eshkol Regional Council. The IDF further stressed that the army would continue to act against any attempt to disrupt the peace in southern Israel.
