The Foreign Ministry rejected the decision by the European Parliament to express support for the controversial UN Goldstone report which called to investigate suspected Israeli “war crimes”.
A ministry statement said that "Israel regrets the decision of the European Parliament, which is not beneficial to the peace process and which is inconsistent with the principles of law and justice".
