United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon has expressed condemnation for Israel’s plan to build 1,600 homes in Jerusalem, saying the construction would undermines “any movement towards a viable peace process.” The UN supports the division of Jerusalem as part of a surrender of all lands liberated by Israel during the 1967 Six-Day War.
