Hundreds of people lined up for the grand opening of Israel's second branch of Swedish furniture chain Ikea. The new store, in Rishon Lezion, was opened at a cost of NIS 400 million to the local franchise holders of the chain. Next year, a third Ikea store is set to open in the Haifa area, when the chain predicts sales will reach NIS 100 billion a year.
