The Knesset on Tuesday passed into law a measure that requires institutions such as banks, schools, hospitals, and the National Insurance Institute to provide information to both parents of a child, even if they are living separately. Until now, institutions provided such information only to the parent with whom the child was currently living. The law was proposed by Mks Yariv Levin (Likud), Dov Hanin (Hadash), and Orit Zueretz (Kadima)
