MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) filed an urgent request with the Knesset Committee Tuesday evening, asking that MK Ahmed Tibi (Ra'am-Ta'al) be removed from his position as deputy head of the Knesset. MK Ben-Ari said that based on his behavior earlier Tuesday, Tibi cannot remain in his position.
Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin threw Tibi out of the plenum earlier Tuesday, when he called the 12 Jews who were hanged by the British for fighting for the liberation of Israel before the establishment of the state “terrorists.”
