The Knesset on Tuesday approved on its second and third reading a law that would institute an annual National Students' Day. The day would be celebrated around Shavuot each year, and would be used to spotlight higher education in Israel and the system's students. The law was proposed by MK Alex Miller, head of the Knesset Students' Lobby.
