The Israel Social Worker's Union and the Yedid organization filed a lawsuit with the High Court Monday, demanding that the government roll back the 40% increase in the price of water that was instituted at the beginning of the year. The lawsuit states that the increase in water prices hurts the poor. The state is required to respond within 30 days and justify why the increase was necessary.
