Samaria Council Head Gershon Mesika praised residents of Havat Gilad who cornered the terrorist who drove a tractor into a vehicle being driven by an Israeli woman Monday night. Mesika called on the government to reconsider its steps before agreeing to a renewal of talks with the Palestinian Authority. “These are barbarian terrorists who take advantage of every opportunity to try and murder us,” he said, adding that the current situation “stands in opposition to the agreement the current government made with its voters.”
