A memorial service in memory of Major General (res.) Yigal Alon, will take place tomorrow (Monday) at 16:30 at the cemetery at Kibbutz Ginosar. Alon served as commander of the IDF's southern front and also commanded the battle for Ramla and Lod. In 1950 he was released from the army.

Yigal Alon died on February 29, 1980.
