MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union) attacked the Supreme Court decision regarding demonstrations in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Shimon HaTzaddik: "the Supreme Court once again exposed itself as consistently preferring the Arabs and Leftists over the Jews, especially those affiliated with nationalist-patriotic ideals. Chief Justice Dorit Beinish would never dream of making ugly and degrading comments about Muslim prayer like she did about Jewish prayer at the grave of Shimon HaTzaddik.
"I only hope that when Jews seek to pray on the Temple Mount the court will order the police to allow for such services despite Arab threats just like it has ordered the police to permit the protests in Shimon HaTzaddik," added Eldad.
