A Swedish fund is donating $300,000 to renovate buildings in the Arab village of Bil'in, the result of an intensive marketing campaign by Arabs and leftists, showing donors the “damage” wrought by the “Israeli occupiers” of the town. A report Thursday said that the sum was part of a 15 million euro Swedish fund for the renovation of buildings throughout Palestinian Authority-run areas of Judea and Samaria. The first donation will he used to renovate an abandoned tower in the village, turning it into a “Palestinian arts and culture center,” Swedish officials said.
