At a meeting with his counterpart from New Zealand, Murray McCully, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Tuesday that the world should adopt a policy of boycotting Iran similar to the boycott of the United States against Cuba. “There is no doubt that the main barrier to peace in the world is Iran, and we are worried about international developments,” Lieberman said.
Lieberman and McCully signed an agreement at their meeting that would make travel between Israel and New Zealand smoother, and allow young adults to receive work visas to both countries more easily. Lieberman said that Israel would soon reopen its embassy in Wellington.
