The United States has demanded that President Bashar al-Assad stop allowing Iran to use Syria to supply Hizbullah with weapons, according to a report in Arab media Sunday. The report in Al-Arabiya said that the U.S. forwarded a message to this effect to the Syrian government when the State Department summoned the Syria ambassador to the U.S. for talks several days ago.
