Al-Mabhouh Injected with Paralysis Drug: New Suspect

The chief of police in Dubai said on Sunday that another person will be added to the list of suspects in the assassination of senior Hamas commander Mahmoud Al Mabhouh in Dubai in January. The latest announcement brings to the number of suspects to 27.

The police also released the results of a toxicology forensic report that confirmed that Al-Mabhouh was injected with a medical drug known as succinylcholine before he was strangled to death. Deputy Police Chief Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina said the drug is used to induce muscle relaxation and could "cause immediate and temporary paralysis."
