Arab rioters threw rocks at Jonathan House (Beit Yehonatan) in the Shiloach (Silwan) neighborhood of eastern Jerusalem. The rioters were dispersed by Border Guards.
The upper floors of the Jewish-owned house in the mixed Jewish-Arab neighborhood south of Jerusalem's Old City is slated to be sealed and the building's Jewish residents are slated for eviction under a recent court ruling that says they are there illegally. Jewish groups are demanding an even-handed policy for illegal Arab housing in the neighborhood.
