Hizbullah leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, led a Hizbullah delegation which met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and senior Iranian officials in Damascus on Thursday, according to Hizbullah-aligned Al-Manar television. They discussed what they called "Israeli threats on Lebanon and Syria".
The two then joined Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad for a dinner with senior Syrian officials. Al-Assad declared at the dinner that he would not compromise or give in to those threats. Ahmadinejad is scheduled to leave Syria and return home on Friday.
