Hareidi businessman Yosef Mozeson has received a green light to run for the directorate of Bank Leumi. Mozeson, a stock trader with a number of internet businesses, is eligible to run as one of the bank's stockholders. Questions about his eligibility were raised by the Securities Authority when he announced his candidacy on February 14th, but the bank's articles of association supported his candidacy.

With that hurdle out of the way, Mozeson continues to talk to other shareholders, ahead of the elections to the board, which are expected to take place in two months. He has picked up support of many fellow shareholders so far. He feels his youth can help the bank, which he says has not reached its full potential.
