An Arab was detained for investigation on Monday after he pointed a gun at an Israeli at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria. Another Israeli who saw the incident fired warning shots in the air, according to a statement from the Samaria Regional Council.
The Israel Defense Forces say an IDF unit at the scene overpowered the Arab. A preliminary examination showed that the weapon was a toy. It was confiscated.
